Friday, June 5, 2009 at 4:12PM It took Evan Rosenfeld and Jenna 1 hour and 40 minutes to get home from the office today -- they had to travel all of 20 blocks south on Alton Road. Here's some sights from the journey at about 7PM tonight:
Lincoln Road and Michigan Avenue

It took me 6 hours to get from where 395 ends to 4th and Ocean. 6 HOURS.
It was completely awful, traumatizing, and a true test of patience. Besides towing cars and helping tow trucks get onto the beach, I saw the police doing absolutely NOTHING except walking around in the water.....laughing. How are there no resources to help remedy these situations more efficiently? Hello....we live on a beach. Shouldn't they expect this?
