Two Florida Keys officers arrested on drug charges

A Monroe County corrections officer and an officer with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission got busted for possession with intent to distribute narcotics, conspiracy to traffic in narcotics and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Only there weren't any drugs.

The two officers met with an undercover officer who provided ''sham'' drugs that he said he needed transported to the Keys. The officers made three "smuggling trips" with what they thought was cocaine and heroin.

Not enough real crime going on these days, the government has to create it?
