Notes on...the Peter Gatien documentary: The Limelight Project

...We've begun pre-production on a documentary about famed nightclub mogul Peter Gatien...Billy will be directing...We're working with Peter's daughter Jen, a talented producer herself, to tell the story of Gatien's spectacular rise and fall, framed against the transformation of New York from the 70s/80s to the 90s...Dave Berlin is the executive producer...Structurally I think there will be a lot of similarities between this doc and Cocaine Cowboys...We'll start production next month...No title as of yet...We are referring to it around the office as The Limelight Project.
