Cocaine Cowboys newsman discovers himself in the movie

Remember this guy from Cocaine Cowboys? He was a business reporter for WTVJ CBS 4 in Miami in the 1980s and did an outstanding series of reports on the "Cocaine Economy," clips of which we use in the movie. While we were editing, Dave Cypkin and I used to bust into Beastie Boys' Sabotage whenever he'd turn up in archival footage -- one of those delirious running gags you concoct when you're locked in an editing room for almost 2 years.

Turns out I went to high school with his son and they recently learned about the movie. Alan recently discussed CC on his blog with some fond memories of Miami back in the day.
