• Lehman was major force in S. Florida (Miami Herald) - If condo sales aren't enough to pay off a Lehman loan, a bankruptcy court could decide to dispose of the troubled note as quickly as possible. That could mean a fire sale -- with the unsold condo units valued at pennies on the dollar.


• Coast Guard seizes $8.4 million worth of cocaine (CNN) - The U.S. Coast Guard seized seven tons of cocaine with an estimated street value of $8.4 million in what one officer called "the most dangerous operation of my career."
