All day around our office and on Lincoln Road I heard people begging for tickets to the Chanel Cruise Collection 2009 debut party at the Raleigh tonight.

South Beach USA reports:

There is an official state of LOCKDOWN at the Raleigh Hotel right now as the Kaiser Karl Lagerfeld is staging his legendary CHANEL Cruise Collection Thursday, May 15th at the hotel’s breathtaking pool. If the rest of the planet seems a bit less “Super,” know that the top supermodels and fashion editors are making their way through customs at Miami International Airport just now to take their place at another history-making CHANEL event.

“The concept of the Cruise Collection is based on traveling, and Miami is the ideal destination: A city that moves and has energy, with its small districts and its animated streets.” comments Karl Lagerfeld.
