Martin Scorsese’s brutal crime drama The Departed received a leading four prizes — including best picture and best director — as the Florida Film Critics Circle announced its year-end awards Friday.
Miami-based filmmakers Billy Corben and Alfred Spellman (Cocaine Cowboys, Raw Deal: A Question of Consent) won the Golden Orange for Outstanding Contribution to Film for their continued dedication to South Florida’s film industry.
